Angry Bird Sandwich

My 3 year old son is OBSESSED with the game Angry Birds! So, after a day of rain and being stuck in the house, I decided to make him a fun sandwich that he can help  me make! It was a lot of fun, and helped our boring, rainy day not be so boring (:

Here is our little creation...that he ended up NOT eating. Ugh, ya, did I mention he is a picky eater? Well, he is! lol So, I ate it and it was delicious. Enjoy! (:

ANGRY BIRD Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich

What you will need:
-2 pieces of whole wheat bread
-peanut butter
-strawberry jelly
-1 orange slice
-1 large marshmallow
-raisins

Directions:
Cut the 2 pieces of bread in a circle.
Spread peanut butter on one piece of bread and put the other slice on top.
Put the strawberry jelly on the outside.
Cut 2 feathers out of your scrap bread and spread jelly on it for the feathers.
Cut a orange slice to make his beak.
Cut a large marshmallow in half to make his eyes. We cut out a bit from the top and the bottom.
Add raisins for the eye brows, pupils, and tail.

First Day of Fall- YAY!

My favorite time of year, it makes me oh so happy! That is right, I am talking about Fall! (:
So in celebration for it (finally!) being Fall, my 3 year old and I made Owl S'mores. (:

YUM!

How cute is he!? (:

All you need is:
- Graham Crackers
- Marshmallows (large)
 - M'M's or chocolate chips
- Candy Corn

Directions:
  1. Cut one marshmallow in half and place both pieces on a large graham cracker (2 stuck together).
  2. Heat in the microwave for about 2-5 seconds, just enough to make the marshmallows puff up, but not get too hot.
  3. Take out of microwave and add a chocolate chip/ M'Ms and the candy corn beak while the marshmallows are still warm. Everything should stick together nicely.
  4. Let cool and serve! You can make these the night before a party and everything is still very tasty.

HAPPY FALL!
