Happy 9 Months!

Ok, so my daughter just turned 9 months old today. Time is going by too fast, and she is growing even faster! (If that makes any sense!) lol  She had been army crawling for the past few months, but finally in the last few days has been crawling normally. Yay for Lily! (: Not only that, she had also stood up on the couch and took three steps to get a toy! It's pretty funny how we parents go bananas over little things our kids do, but that comes with the territory I suppose. Lilyana has also been saying "Da Da" and most importantly "Ma Ma" Jeffrey (her big brother!) loves her to death, but boy are they already fighting over toys! He has also become quite bossy and does not like it when she touches his toys and well...anything really!! lol I think it is adorable how he says her name too. "La La" It is a bit hard for a child to say and I think for a almost 3 year old who doesn't talk much, it is pretty darn good.

Yesterday was Mother's Day, and it was a nice, busy and crazy day. Pretty much a normal day for me, but for my husband, he doesn't get to see how hectic it is for me to take both kids out. Hopefully he formed a new respect for me being a mommy. Sadly, I doubt it though. I know for one thing, he was happy to go to work this Monday morning! HA!

Well, happy 9 months my sweet baby girl! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

It is now May, and for more than a year now we have been looking for a new home. I am seriously starting to doubt if we will ever sell the house we are in now. We have had multiple people look at the house, but no bids= no interest. We found a house that we both LOVED and adored, but their were few other offers on the house including our offer, and we just got word that they accepted another offer. Bummer.

We are trying not to lose heart though, and are looking around at other homes now. We have found a few we like online, and are now just waiting to see them in person. I am praying that the month of May will be the month that we find a buyer and we find our future home. 

"Yeah, that sounds great!" Can't wait to see you!" You make plans with people to hang out, and then low and behold...they cancel, or they are a no show. I am starting to get a bit irritated with people lately. Don't make plans with someone, if you have no intent on really seeing that person! I have a family, and millions of other things I can do with my time, than to sit around and wait for someone to cancel or never show up. Ugh! 

Ok, vent over.

No time!

So having a family over for dinner this evening in T-minus 2 hours, and the house is a mess, my son refuses to take a nap and my daughter will not let me put her down! I really think I may pull my hair out of my head- but then that would just add on to my many "problems" now wouldn't it?

I made pot roast, my first attempt (I know, weird) but I am freaking out that it will turn out disgusting OR the travesty that their will not be enough to eat! I have SO MUCH to do, and not much time...so I am going to go and see if Lily will let me put her down.

With this on, I feel like a Domestic Goddess!

My Amateur Photography

Ya, so I am obsessed with taking pictures. Anyone who knows me, would say the same as well. A friend of mine asked me to take pictures of her daughter for her, and I readily agreed. It is a bit nerve wrecking though when you take pictures for someone else. When I take photos of my kids and family there is no pressure, but when they are for friends...I tend to freak out a bit!!

Some of the photos came out pretty good though!  I think I may need to start charging (; lol Just kidding.  The only reason I would want to charge is the tedious job of editing the photos. Ugh, no fun at all and was up till 1am doing so! Owell, I am happy with them (:

I really can't wait to take similar pictures like this of Lily when she is able to sit up on her own! I almost can't wait for her to grow up, but then I think, "Am I crazy!? I love Lily being this little!" I really am cherishing every moment with my son and daughter. My kids are really growing up way too fast!
