Angry Bird Sandwich

My 3 year old son is OBSESSED with the game Angry Birds! So, after a day of rain and being stuck in the house, I decided to make him a fun sandwich that he can help  me make! It was a lot of fun, and helped our boring, rainy day not be so boring (:

Here is our little creation...that he ended up NOT eating. Ugh, ya, did I mention he is a picky eater? Well, he is! lol So, I ate it and it was delicious. Enjoy! (:

ANGRY BIRD Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich

What you will need:
-2 pieces of whole wheat bread
-peanut butter
-strawberry jelly
-1 orange slice
-1 large marshmallow
-raisins

Directions:
Cut the 2 pieces of bread in a circle.
Spread peanut butter on one piece of bread and put the other slice on top.
Put the strawberry jelly on the outside.
Cut 2 feathers out of your scrap bread and spread jelly on it for the feathers.
Cut a orange slice to make his beak.
Cut a large marshmallow in half to make his eyes. We cut out a bit from the top and the bottom.
Add raisins for the eye brows, pupils, and tail.

First Day of Fall- YAY!

My favorite time of year, it makes me oh so happy! That is right, I am talking about Fall! (:
So in celebration for it (finally!) being Fall, my 3 year old and I made Owl S'mores. (:

YUM!

How cute is he!? (:

All you need is:
- Graham Crackers
- Marshmallows (large)
 - M'M's or chocolate chips
- Candy Corn

Directions:
  1. Cut one marshmallow in half and place both pieces on a large graham cracker (2 stuck together).
  2. Heat in the microwave for about 2-5 seconds, just enough to make the marshmallows puff up, but not get too hot.
  3. Take out of microwave and add a chocolate chip/ M'Ms and the candy corn beak while the marshmallows are still warm. Everything should stick together nicely.
  4. Let cool and serve! You can make these the night before a party and everything is still very tasty.

HAPPY FALL!

Lily Turns ONE!!

I can't believe a whole year went by already! My sweet baby girl's birthday was this month as well. It sure was not easy planning two birthday parties one week after the other! It was so much fun, and next year I will be even more prepared.
For Lily's 1st Birthday Party I did a cupcake theme. Because who doesn't like cupcakes?!
Here are the photos from her party!

Loved her birthday princess dress with a cupcake on it
The birthday banner I made with scrapbook paper, colorful yarn, printable month stickers, and of course monthly photos of my little princess.

                                                           Thinking, "what is this!?"

                                                      Mmmm It's actually quite good!

Jeffrey Turns 3!!

My sweet boy turned 3 this month! He has been obsessed with trains for the last few months so naturally we had  a train birthday party for him! (: It was super hot outside (Darn FL summer heat!)

Sooo, we had the party at our small house, but set up the backyard with all the water fun a bunch of kids could want! We had a slip 'n slide, kiddie pool with sprinklers and water guns! The kids had a blast and the adults even enjoyed the party!

Here are some pictures of Jeffrey's 3rd Birthday Party!

Rock The Dress

I didn't get a many good pictures taken on my wedding day. I had always regretted not putting out more money for a professional photographer for our special wedding day, but luckily I was able to get some pictures taken recently in my wedding dress! A local photographer was looking for a model to do a "Rock The Dress" session in their wedding dress. A "Rock the Dress" is similar to a "Trash the Dress" session, where women wear their lovely wedding dresses and get all dirty and roll around in sand and trash their dress. The good thing about that, is you get amazing photos! This session was similar, but not RUINING my dress. (: It was a blast! Here are some of the photos taken 3 YEARS after my wedding! LOL
